Summer Dance a Huge Success
 

Summer Dance for Felixstowe Chamber a great success!

On the beautiful summer's evening of 26^th July guests gathered on the grounds of Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club with the sun still beaming at 7pm and the with the glorious backdrop of the calm sea,. The evening that followed in the marquee adjacent to the clubhouse included music from Pea Green & a raffle with amazing gifts kindly donated by numerous local businesses. The organising committee had gone to a great deal of care and effort to secure a huge range of donations and ensured that the first summer dance for the chamber ran smoothly.

Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to support the work of Art on the Prom which attracts an abundance of visitors to the area as well as providing local artists to display their work.

Waterside by Classique catered for the evening providing waitress service for the combination platters starters, followed by a beautifully cooked barbequed succulent salmon steak, beef steak, chicken kebabs & aubergines.  Staff from Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club provided waitress service for beverages which allowed guests to take in the evening’s entertainments without having to leave their tables.  The dance was a great success and the evening was enjoyed by everyone.

Felixstowe Chamber’s next big social event will be held at the Elizabeth Orwell Hotel on 12^th December for its first Christmas Masquerade Ball.  Bookings are now being taken for individual tickets or tables of 10.  They are charged at £45 each and include a three course dinner, live band (The Beavers) & Casino table usage.

Felixstowe Chamber also host a number of business networking events throughout the year including breakfasts (in conjunction with The Flyer) and evening networking with topical subjects.
