A Felixstowe police team recently won a 5-a-side football tournament.
The tournament included thirteen teams from local sheltered accommodations, the emergency services, ethnic groups, youth training providers, children's centres and local businesses.
Sgt Peter Street from Felixstowe and District SNT said: 'The day went extremley well and it was great to see members of the community from all walks of life under one roof enjoying the football. Events such as this are important to Felixstowe as they fill people with community spirit and are enjoyable to people of all ages'.
The winning Felixstowe Police team were presented their trophy by the Mayor of Felixstowe, Angel Goodwin.
The team comprised of PC James Moughton, PC Brendan Moss, PC Regan Bradshaw, PC Marc Soames, PCSO Lorraine Spall and Sgt Peter Street.
The trophy for the player of the tournament went to James Hindle from East of England Ambulance team and was presented by Cllr Doreen Savage.
The trophy for the 'Golden Boot' went to PC James Moughton from the Felixstowe Police Team and was presented by Louise Berrill the secretary for Felixstowe Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
