Chamber announces winner for Best Dressed Window display Christmas 2009
 

Judging took place on Friday 27^th November by last year’s winner, Mrs Carol Jones of Glyph in Hamilton Road together with Sue Gipps from Archant.  It was announced at The Lions Christmas Lights ‘Switch On’, Saturday 28^th November that Bent Hill Post Office had been chosen as the winner. 

Felixstowe Chamber was approached by a local resident, Mrs Jane Bolton, last year; she wished to donate a shield for the best dressed Christmas window display.  Her desire was to bring ‘a little more Christmas spirit and encouragement into the town’ following tough times being experienced by retailers. 

Felixstowe Chamber would like to express there thanks to all of those who took part in this year’s competition and who have contributed in making Felixstowe look so festive this year.

The chamber’s committee would like to wish their members and all local traders a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
